Currently, the team is delving a small resort close to Pavna Lake closer to Lonavala, Maharashtra into the development of 6 unique 1,000 square feet A-Frame homes with breathtaking views of the hills next to it. 1. The Concept of A-Frame Homes
A frame homes have been constructed for a while and are now becoming very common in Mumbai. Quite a good amount of them can be seen being constructed or existing in and around Mumbai outskirts. The Shape and the form of these homes makes them very convenient for construction and also save on time for the same. If an A-Frame design has to work well, then it has to have an open plan so at to use the space with efficiency, along with excellent natural light, and a unique aesthetic that stands out in any landscape.

2. Design Development Process at Atelier ARBO

We draw inspiration from everywhere - art, nature, everything that’s around us. With our initial idea, our team brainstormed some sketch ideas which had potential to be further developed into a full form A-Frame home. With a process of elimination as per major potential, some of the plans were drafted. After the same, some only looked and fitted in most of the purposeful need and aesthetic need.

3.1 We accepted the fact that we cannot have it all, so as to keep the layout simple and minimal and to maximize the efficiency of space, we developed a multifunctional layout, which makes sure that every nook and niche has a purpose.
